Mahindra soon launch their Three New Electric SUVs, Mahindra BE.05, Mahindra XUV.e8, and Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.
Mahindra and Mahindra is riding high on the success of the Thar Roxx, which received 1.76 Lakh orders within just 60 minutes of opening it’s booking window. SUVs like the Scorpio N, Scorpio Classic, XUV 700, Thar, and Bolero continue to make a major contribution to the company’s total sales each month. Now, the indigenous automaker aims to strengthen its EV Market with at least five new born-electric SUVs, set to start arriving from December 2024.

Mahindra’s INGLO:
The carmaker has already confirmed that its first born-electric EV will be the Mahindra XUV.e8, essentially the electric iteration of the XUV700 SUV. According to recent reports, Mahindra BE.05 will have its world premiere even before the XUV.e8. This electric SUV could be officially unveiled in its production-ready form in Late November 2024. Both EVs will be built on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform, which supports multiple lengths, widths, and wheelbases.
Mahindra has revealed that its INGLO-based electric SUVs will come with two battery pack options-60 kWh and 80kWh. Both batteries can charge up to 80 percent in under 30 Minutes with a fast charger of up to 175kW. These EVs will feature V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality and support RWD and AWD setups. 1. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV:
The home-grown SUV manufacturer is actively testing the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV- a direct rival to the Tata Nexon EV. This electric subcompact SUV will share most of its interior elements with the XUV400 EV. It will feature many copper accents inside the cabin, along with dual-tone Black and White uplolstery. Most of the features will carry over from its ICE version, including a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and a wireless phone charger.

A few cosmetic changes will be made to the EV. The upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will feature a closed-off grille, revised front and rear bumpers, a charging point on the front right-side fender, tweaked fenders, redesigned headlamps, and newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels.
2. Mahindra BE.05:
Mahindra BE.05 is a Coupe which is expected to launch in India in October, 2025 in the expected price range of Rs. 17.00 – 21.00 Lakh. Mahindra BE.05 will be offered in different variants. Dimensions-wise, the Mahindra BE.05 measures 4,370mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,653mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775mm. As for the styling Mahindra BE.05 gets a couple-style roof, integrated roof spoiler, and aero alloy wheels. Notably, the blanked-off grille features ‘The Tech Shield’ lettering, which indicates concealed ADAS sensors.

On the inside, BE.05 gets a dual-display setup integrated into a single-piece unit, gear stick, unique steering, and fabric door handles. Besides this, the upholstery appears to be made from sustainable or recycled materials.
3. Mahindra XUV.e8:
Mahindra XUV.e8 is a SUV which is expected to launch in India on 17 December, 2024, in the expected price range of Rs. 21.00 – 30.00 Lakh. Mahindra XUV.e8 will be offered in multiple variants
Exterior: The Mahindra XUV.e8 is based on the brand’s flagship ICE model, the XUV700. It carries a similar design language with an upright bonnet and flush door handles. It will benefit from a revised front fascia with a full-length LED light bar, redesigned bumper, and new headlamps.
